Fair Wheel Picker

Random number wheel

Pick a random number by spinning the wheel. Start with 1 to 10, switch to 1 to 100, or build any range up to 500 numbers for raffles, bingo and classroom games.

    We have a winner!

    Choose your number range

Open Number range, enter the lowest and highest number, and press Make. The wheel fills with every whole number in that range, each with an equal slice. Ready-made presets cover 1–10, 1–100 and raffle tickets 1–50.

Spin, and the winning number appears in a pop-up and in the results history.

    Raffles and prize draws

Sold numbered tickets? Make a wheel with your ticket range and turn on Remove winner after each spin so a number can only win once. Event mode shows the draw full screen for the whole room or your live stream.

    Classroom maths games

Use the wheel to generate numbers for mental maths, times tables or place-value games. Students can take turns spinning, and the history panel keeps a record of every number that came up.

    Fair and transparent

Numbers are chosen with a cryptographically secure random generator, the same quality browsers use for security. Nothing is sent to a server, so there is no hidden logic anywhere but your own browser.

    Private by design

Fair Wheel Picker is a static web page. The wheel, the random pick, the sound and the confetti all run in your browser. There is no account, no database and no upload. Your entries and history are stored in your browser's local storage so they are still there next time, and you can wipe them at any time by clearing the entries and history.

    Frequently asked questions

    Are my entries uploaded anywhere?

No. Fair Wheel Picker runs entirely in your browser. Entries are kept in your browser storage on this device only, and shared links carry the wheel inside the part of the URL after the # sign, which browsers never send to a server.

    Is the result really random?

Yes. The winner is chosen with your browser's cryptographic random number generator before the animation starts, and every slice has exactly the same chance. The spin animation simply lands on the slice that was picked.

Is it free? Do I need an account?

It is completely free and there is no sign-up. Open the page, type your entries and spin. Your wheel is remembered on this device for next time.

What is the biggest range I can use?

Up to 500 numbers on one wheel, for example 1 to 500 or 1000 to 1499.

Can a number come up twice?

Yes, unless you turn on Remove winner after each spin. Then each number can only be drawn once.

    Can I use negative numbers?

Yes. Enter any whole numbers in the From and To boxes.
